| 02/26/08 MPI, PVM, LINDA, and FFTW software packages are now available on the Apple G5 cluster. MPI, PVM, and LINDA are used for code parallelization. FFTW (Fast Fourier Transform) is widely used for solving partial differential equations, signal processing, spectral analysis, filtering algorithms, and many other areas. |
